ABOUT AMY

I have been affiliated with the University of California for over 25 years as an admissions officer, an independent consultant, and an external application reader. I started my own private practice in 2004. I have read over 75,000 college applications. I have seen the way the college admission process has changed over the years and I can successfully help you and your student navigate this stressful and confusing time.

In addition to the ivy league and elite universities, I have extensive knowledge about the admissions process for the smallest liberal arts colleges to the largest state universities, as well as universities overseas. Whether your student has straight A's or has straight C's, there is a college out there where they will thrive. I can help you and your student find a college that will support their goals and dreams.

Because every student is unique, colleges are not "one size fits all." I work closely with each student and their parents to design a comprehensive and customized plan. I work with a small number of students each year to ensure that you will have my undivided attention and expertise as I guide you through the maze of searching and applying to the colleges that best match your interests and needs.

I have a BA in Organizational Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am a member of NACAC: National Association for College Admission Counseling and NAFSA: Association of International Educators.  I attend the University of California Counselor's Conference each year. My affiliation with the University of California keeps me on the forefront of current trends in college admissions and education.
